Alpha Kappa Alpha honors scholarship recipients

Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority, Inc. Xi Omega chapter in collaboration with the Pearl and Ivy Educational Foundation hosted about 500 guests at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts for a performance of the Alvin Ailey Dance Theater. The 2011 scholarship award recipient was honored and the foundation raises funds annually to provide scholarships for college-bound D.C. high school graduating seniors.
